  • Absolutely! Florestral is a multigenerational village, with children, parents, and elders all playing a part in community life. Children are raised in close connection with nature and supported by a wider circle of community members.

  • Yes. We encourage anyone interested in becoming a resident to spend time on the land first, through a retreat, a guest stay, or as a volunteer. It’s the best way to experience the rhythm of the community and feel whether the path is truly aligned.

  • We make decisions through open, collaborative processes. Community meetings and working groups offer space for discussion, listening, and consensus-based choices that reflect the shared values of the village.

  • No. While Florestral holds sacred space and many residents are spiritually engaged, we do not follow a single path or belief system. There is space here for a range of spiritual practices, as long as they are grounded in respect, presence, and shared values.

  • Residents earn income in a variety of ways. Some work remotely or run online businesses, others offer healing work, teaching, land-based services, or creative offerings. We encourage self-sufficiency, collaboration, and skill-sharing within and beyond the village.

  • Florestral is located about 25 minutes from San Isidro, which offers hospitals, clinics, and natural health practitioners. Children may learn through homeschooling, unschooling, or small learning pods, and there are alternative education options in the region.
